A practical estimate, with clear assumptions.

01

Badugi ranking

The evaluator finds the largest subset with different ranks and suits. Four-card hands beat three-card hands; equal-size hands compare the highest rank downward, with aces low.

02

Top N% or exact hand

A Top N% range is built from every four-card starting combination, ranked by playable card count and then low Badugi rank. Exact mode uses the four opponent cards you select.

03

Monte Carlo equity

The tool runs 25,000 deals by default, with adjustable samples up to 250,000, and splits ties equally. Select cards to redraw to compare that decision with standing pat. It estimates card equity only—it does not model betting, position, or bluffing.
